Internet surveys

Today the Internet plays a still larger role in marketing and market research.

MEGAFON have many years of experience with web based surveys. In several situations, the internet can be advantageous as data collection method, when uncovering a certain subject.
 
It requires special consideration to decide, when it is appropriate to use the Internet for data collection. Of course we cooperate with you to help you find the best solution to your needs.
 
 
Some of the essential strengths of Internet surveys are:
  • An Internet survey can be completed within a limited time span, because it is possible to send questionnaires to several potential respondents at the same time.
  • It is fast and easy to get in touch with target groups, who can be hard to reach via telephone. 
  • You can test specific material, because of the possibility to upload pictures, video sequences or ads in the questionnaire.
  • You don’t disturb the respondents at an inappropriate time, as they fill out the questionnaires themselves, when they can find the appropriate time.   
 
There are also weaknesses by using the internet as a means of data collection:
  • The results can’t be considered representative for certain target groups. For example the Danish population.
  • The completion rate of the Internet survey can be lower than by using ex. the telephone interview. Simply because the respondents themselves have to take initiative to fill out the questionnaire.  
Internet surveys can be conducted by either your list of e-mail adresses or in MEGAFON's Internet Panel.
